Primary and Secondary teachers needed for The Postal Museum Teachers’ Panel

The Postal Museum

Opening in Camden in Spring 2017, the story of the post will come to life in the galleries at The Postal Museum. Through exciting learning programmes your school can discover over five centuries of inspiring, surprising and extraordinary communications history that shaped Britain – and the world.

Dig a little deeper

We’re opening the now deserted ‘Mail Rail’ tunnels to the public for the first time as an immersive ride. Schools will be able to take a 15-minute journey through the original tunnels and station platforms under Mount Pleasant on a specially-made train.

Put your stamp on our story

Join our Teacher’s Panel and consult on plans for our learning programmes. You’ll provide feedback on ideas for workshops, activities and projects and will be amongst the first to see behind the scenes at The Postal Museum, including a sneak peek at five interactive galleries, our dedicated learning space, lunch room, Sorted! The Postal Play Space and Mail Rail ride.

The Teacher’s Panel will meet once a term between 5.30 – 7pm. Refreshments will be provided and travel expenses within Greater London can be reimbursed.

To register your interest, email your name, school and subject specialism to Sally Sculthorpe, Schools Learning Manager learning@postalmuseum.org
