FREE 3-hour music workshop for KS2, teens and over 50s in the Kentish Town area

As part of their upcoming performance at the i=u festival, The Vonnegut Collective will be looking into different people's experience of contemporary classical music. A brand new piece incorporating image, sound, live music and spoken word will be created over the next few months and performed at the festival in May.

All of the material for this new work will be gathered through interactive, creative workshops around the local area. Members of the ensemble will work with groups of people of different ages and backgrounds, presenting an "introduction to graphic scores" and encouraging the participants to share their experiences - their preconceptions and their reactions to the processes explored in the workshop.

We are offering a FREE 3-hour workshop to three groups of people in the Kentish Town area. Ideally, we are looking to work with:

  • 1 group of KS2
  • 1 group of teens or young adults
  • 1 group of over 50s

We can cater for up to 30 in each group.
