Four practical twilight sessions that will:

  • Increase your confidence in using drama in the classroom.
  • Use drama to develop literacy, particularly with reluctant writers.
  • Explore the learning potential offered by a theatre visit and how to develop children's responses.

The sessions will be based on the spring term production, The Velveteen Rabbit, but activities will be transferable and teachers do not have to be bringing pupils to see the show in order to participate.

Dates: Thu 2, 9, 16 & 23 March, all 5-6.30pm
Location: Unicorn Theatre (closest tube London Bridge)
Cost: £80 per teacher (includes sessions, tickets to watch the show and refreshments)

‘One of the best quality courses I have ever been on. I don’t come from a theatrical background but I found the activities amazing – accessing parts of my brain that aren’t normally used. It has really helped to improve my confidence, so I can’t wait to see the profound effect I know it will have on the children.’  Teacher, 2016
