A free course for young people aged 16-18yrs who will get the chance develop their design skills and knowledge of London’s architecture. Through a range of hands-on practical activities such as digital design, architectural drawing and model making workshops as well as inspiring trips to new developments you will have a fun, challenging and creative chance to learn more about architectural design and built environment engineering careers.

Workshops for 8-12yrs: STEM Holiday Course

7 – 9 August 2019

10.30 – 3pm

Who are the people who make cities? From architects to engineers there are a huge range of people with the knowledge and skills need to design and build the places that we live.

In this hands-on practical workshop we’ll learn through designing our own plans for an area and learn more about how London’s development has been shaped by a huge range of talented citizens over its history. 

NLA’s holiday course for young Londoners aged 8-12yrs will teach you everything you never knew you didn’t know about your city! We’ll be inspired by New London Architecture’s amazing scale model of London that shows the built environment of the city past, present and future. Each day there will be range of fun, practical STEM and art activities on offer led by artists, architects, engineers and other design professionals.
